Sorel “Caribou” - Waterproof Snow Boots

You’ll need a warm, insulated boot this year when the weather turns cold and snowy.  Sorel boots like the “Caribou” are outstanding waterproof footwear for women.  It has a removable inner liner, 9mm thermo plus, that helps transfer moisture and keep your feet warm and comfortable.  While it does not come in wide widths, the medium actually feels wider than normal which is great unless you have extra narrow feet. Be careful about going down in size, because these snow boots may be too short for your toes. The 9 inch shaft hugs your ankle and lower calf with it’s snow cuff made of wool - acrylic blend.  They’re made with a rubber outer shell and rubber lug soles, perfect for mountain hiking or for gripping surfaces covered in ice.  The calf circumference is 14 1/2 inches.

These are classic snow boots with easy lacing and warm insulation that has been tested and proven through many winter seasons.  Even though these are big and heavy, we still like the way they look — even for women’s winter boots.  They’re available in a buff color as well as black which we prefer.  And remember, you have the option of removing the liners if you want to.  Sorel boots, Caribou in particular, are sturdy utility footwear that will almost never wear out.  Don’t wait for the first snow fall to start looking for these.  You’ll want to have these ready, sitting in your shoe closet so you can grab them fast when you need to go outdoors.
